Ah man i hate to ask,is there anyway you can upload your game files for SWG? Or have a place to get all the game files up until their last update, i've installed many different versions of this game. An empire divided, the complete online adventures,Legends,Emu and Restoration (can't open their files) and it never seems to give me the whole game. I just did a search for these files in that name and even the spec ops from earlier and i only have like 2 helmets for that one and none of the rest.

That's weird, I suppose they could be using modified packs for their servers or something. All of the .TOC and .TRE archives I have (410 files in total) are around 6GB. The problem could also be that the tool(s) can't read the later asset packs. All the .TRE files after Patch_17 need to be opened via the .TOC files (Table of Contents) rather than the .TRE file directly. After Patch_17 the .TOC tables are no longer stored in external .TOC files but are stored inside the sku0_client.toc file.

Or is there a better tool to use?

corraashu , SIE is the best tool for the job: modthegalaxy.com/index.php?threads/about-sie.370/If it's not loading all the files in the browser I'm not sure what to do about that. The older tool TRE Explorer lets you open the .TOC and .TRE files directly and search them for what you want, it's not as good or full featured as SIE though. (UPDATE) I forgot about this but one of the Emu servers downloads a few files with the extension of .gz like "sku0_client.toc.gz". If you extract the contents of the .gz files you'll have access to the .TOC files inside. I've also read that some servers download a .toc file that itself contains a .TOC file. These can all be extracted via 7zip.

So while using SIE i went looking into it's folders and found Data\Scripts\Config\Repository\precu.lua and noticed it had a lot of the .tre files in there but not every one of them, so i edited the file to include all the ones it was missing and a lot of asssets showed up that i hadn't had before but there was still ones that won't load like patch_62_client.
For some reason however i'm still missing a lot of the armor and still the specforce armor even though they are now listed but don't display or extract anything.

The SWG storage files changed formats over the years. From launch SWG through Patch..24-ish? the TRE files have a table of contents built in. Then SOE changed the format so TREs after that *don't* have a table of contents, and thus can't be opened directly - you open them indirectly in SIE by opening the four .TOC files. (sku0_client.toc, sku1_client.toc, sku2_client.toc, sku3_client.toc) You *only* have to open those in SIE and it'll open everything else. SOE's patches run through patch 50-something. After that, all the private servers add their own patches. Legends encrypts its TREs so other servers don't steal their content, so those patches can't be opened easily in SIE. I think Restoration may encrypt theirs, too.

Warhammer_81, what exactly do i need to do? the only channels are alpha and green since it's pure green.. The "cn" files are in crunchy format. You have to split all the color channels to RGBA, then swap them around and recompile the texture. The Blue channel should be inverted to pure white (255), the Green channel can be left as-is, and the Alpha channel should be swapped to the Red channel, leaving the Alpha channel blank.

Hi! I discovered this forum yesterday and the amount of resources you make available is amazing, thank you so much!
One of the models I downloaded from SWG was the Dunelizard and even though it's gonna take me some time to reconstruct on my old Cinema4D R11.5, it's looking great so far.
But I was wondering, would it be possible to get the Scyk fighter too? It doesn't seem to be among the extracted ones, and nobody else on the forum seems to have shared it.
No problem at all if it isn't possible, of course. Cheers!

how does one import a skeleton file properly? i tried to figure it out myself by adding empty objects in blender, moving their positions just based on the binary data and what documentation i could find, and the bone positions seemed to be based upon relative positions, but it seemed wrong to me. i would rather just be able to import a model WITH the armature, but this plugin ( link) does not seem to do it. if it helps, i am trying to get the varactyl model working as it is personally my favorite creature from star wars galaxies.

Do you or anyone else know of any other Private Servers that have most of the content from the end of the days in the Live servers? I've noticed the mediafire repository of models that were pulled by Warhammer_81 contain the AT-AT Playerhouse, would you mind directing me toward which server you were able to get the latest TREs from?
