Did anyone end up releasing the additional skins? Would be great to play around with. I still plan on doing them myself sometime, but given how many there are (including unique normal maps that will need to be re-baked) it will probably take some time. Plus I also still have all of the heads and outfits to do first. Thanks for the follow up! I’ll keep an eye out!

Thanks for the CR90 model. I would have expected them use a higher definition mesh, but once again I'm disappointed by a Star Wars game. Please understand my criticism is not with you in any way, I'll just be happy when we don't have to rely on goddamn bump/normal maps for detail. I don't use the models for rendering but for 3D printing. If they would take the time to make the meshes manifold, it would decrease the poly count, but no, game developers are lazy. I said in an earlier post that if I'm able to figure them out sometime I'll upload them to a separate folder. Also, I'm glad you brought up the Y-Wing! I just double-checked my files and it appears I mistakenly duplicated the original normal map instead of the re-baked version. I'll have to correct that and reupload it probably tomorrow.

I have dnloaded from the link above and i guess i am doing something wrong. i have imported the model "veh_reb_sieg_ywing_mesh.fbx" into 3ds Max 2021sp3 and Blender 2.91; when using LOD 0. the UVs still not matching up to the maps to the body and wings.
how should i import them and what program are you using?

the models use 2 uv channels. uvchannel0 is for the normal map and uvchannel1 for the diffuse and pbr textures. as you can see by the circles or the pattern on the cone thingies. i.imgur.com/Bk6oU4g.jpgfor a fact i know it's shitty texture mapping. i saw that in battlefront already. scratched normal maps. they should not do that. it introduces nasty compression artifacts in those mixed textures. it lowers the quality a good bit. but that's what they do or how much they care about quality. screen shot for the giggles... i.imgur.com/7uIizsq.jpg

When applying a UV map look for the "channel" selection box and change it to 2 instead of 1: www.rendernode.com/uv-mapping-channels-in-3d-studio-max/

I think i got a working model and added the cockpit into the ship Still need to do the Canopy and pull the tubing and attach it to canopy and glass.
