Could renders as good as these be done in Blender or are KeyShot and 3ds Max a must for that kind of quality? Of course! Just look up Blender renders or something and you'll see what it can do; it's commonly used in movie production. What's important is that you know how to use it, only then will it look good.

Warhammer_81 Any chance you could PM me a free download link to that tanker ship? I don't want the link to be posted publicly, as that would probably result in the artist requesting it be taken down.

Yeah, none of those models are mine. I got the echenry model from Servius2's Trello Archive (posted on the first page of "Star Wars Modelling Thread").

Is that DICE's Battlefront model or Ansel Hsiao's model?

That's awesome. Really like the shadows moving across the MC-80 hull, and the GoPro-like camera angle looking back at the banking y-wings as the lighting angle changes.

My texturing skills aren't that great, but for a major assignment of mine for uni, I did some quick and dirty animations for my V-19 Torrent in Blender.

Thanks to @rancor022 for pointing out that this thing exists -- it completely escaped my notice. I made a few adjustments to the model. - Isolated the cockpit glass, flood lights, and ramp lights as separate sub-meshes for easier shader setup (same UV mapping as source meshes). - Fixed some vertex merging issues on the main hull and wings. Some corners were sharp that were supposed to be rounded and vice versa. - Manually created metal and emissive textures.

For fun I decided to make a very short video render, which I haven't done in quite a whole, with some of the lower-poly ships (minus the Venator, which I am still in the process of putting together). I did the audio track really quick at the last minute so it doesn't sound perfect, and I only added the watermark in case I ever decide to finish it up better and utilize it in the future. drive.google.com/file/d/1iHRP_MddkFDTMPz4GQJZTUJ-3B_2wM4y/view
