Hi Is there a script to extract big models without having to place each mesh in person?

Updated Textures for the B1 Battledroid. I switched the Markings for Kashyyyk, Pilot and Training Textures from UV Channel 2 to Uv 1. Markings UV1Can you do this for the phase 1 and 2 clonetroopers as well? Sure. I will do them Step by Step. Uv Swapping isn´t needed by the Clones i think. First an simple one. Scout Officer , Heavy and Specialist. link

I never understood the uv map thing, what is it? i've exported from frosty to fbx then imported to max and exported to obj. How will this affect my meshes?
which meshes have 2 uv-maps?, vehicles only or infantry, props and weapons aswell?
Also really confused there are certain meshes in frosty that are full characters and some are only in parts. Which parts are for which class and which parts go together?

Yes, you are right. Most of the Body Markings are UV Swapped. Additional to this, i have found out, that the Colormap does not work with unsymetric Markings like the 212, 87 Ranger, 104 Wolfpack and the 91 Recon. The UV´s for the left and the right Side of Shoulder, Arms and Legs are at the same Place . I have 2 Ideas to fix this. First is to Swap the complete Colormap. Next is to split the Mesh to 2 Colormaps.

which meshes need uv swapping?, vehicles only or everything? SOME vehicles (not all!), about half of the weapons, droid markings, and I think the new clone markings. That's it.

You don't happen to know which weapons correct?, Also what about the droid markings and clone markings?, is it 2 diffuse maps or 1?

Rancor, is it possible to output this model as one rigged mesh, instead of in pieces?

You don't happen to know which weapons correct?, Also what about the droid markings and clone markings?, is it 2 diffuse maps or 1? Relax. Just grab Badhorses corrected UV Maps and you don't have to do anything more. Swapping the Uv Channel is only for creating the Uv Maps and only nessesary when you use an Software that cant handle Multi UV's. And how Rancor said, only for a small count of Models. Look at the Color Texture and than on the Normal Texture. If the Edges and lines are similar, all is Good.

It's extremely simple to determine if an object has 2 UV sets. All you need to do is look at the color texture and the normal map. If they match up, then they have only 1 UV. If they do not match up, then there are 2 UV maps. Takes only a couple seconds to determine. Besides, Badhorse already posted all of the fixed normals, and I included them in all my uploads. You might as well just download and use those instead.

By color texture do you mean diffuse?

By color texture do you mean diffuse? Yes. Color and diffuse are the exact same thing.

Rancor, is it possible to output this model as one rigged mesh, instead of in pieces? What software are you using...For example in Blender you would select all the sections of the mesh then using <shift> select the skeleton then Ctrl+P and use the selection of your choice and Parent the meshes to the skeleton...but in each software things are different.

Cinema 4D. I don't believe there is a way to bind skeletons in C4D unfortunately, at least not that I'm aware of. I've attempted several different potential methods in the past, but they never worked.

How does one use the facefix tool?, also i assume you use id-daemons tool? It's not a tool, it's a series of SMD files. Here's a tutorial I posted a while back, let me know if it doesn't work properly: drive.google.com/open?id=1Kk4iiMQUui8cjDg691hdWmnD5LaVD4i3Also, I'm not positive, but the heads may need to be in centimeters to work. You can try it out in meters if you want to see if it works.
