Your Vader Immortal SFX pack is no longer available, link is dead It appears the file was deleted without my knowledge, I have no idea what happened with it. I still have all the original game files but I would have to go back and extract everything again which I just don't have the time for right now. If someone downloaded the original "Vader Immortal - Lightsaber SFX.zip" and wants to share it they are more than welcome to host it somewhere and I'll re-upload it to my MediaFire account again. Hey! I’m new to this forum, joined in search of the Vader Immortal saber SFX. Is there any tips you can provide for what tools I’d need to extract the saber audio files? I used Game Extractor to view the PAK contents, and as a test I extracted one of the audio files (RICE_Saber_Slice_Basic-001.uasset.SoundWave and the same but in .uexp). Am I on the right path? What tools would be next? Thanks for any help!

Look inside the "\Content\WwiseAudio\Windows\" folder after extracting the game files. The game uses the Wwise Audio System, I recommend using QuickBMS with the Wwise .PCK Audio Extraction Script. After unpacking all the .BNK files you'll have a bunch of .WEM files that will need further extracting. groinkick.freeforums.net/post/2943/thread

It’s a high quality sound, longer than if you took a deactivate sound from “Star Wars Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight” and reversed it. This ignition sound would be longer and in higher fidelity. Hope you can extract it and convert it to .wav format.

I did get a few copies of the sound when it was originally uploaded before they were taken down. Take a listen for yourself: www.mediafire.com/file/qek16xmitcq4rxy/WKND_SFX_Saber_VDR_on_01.mp3/file
Now compare these sounds to the ones in the Battlefront games:
Now notice that the sounds from “Vader Immortal” lack the “hum” and “buzz” at the end. Also, they are not mixed in with other ignition sounds. This is precisely what I want, albeit in .wav format and in 48 KHz. I hope this makes things clearer to you know. I’m sorry for the delay, but life threw me several curveballs I had trouble circumnavigating.

I’d love those sounds, and I believe iteachvader would want them too, fine additions to his sound effects collection. We would appreciate your services.

Okay, now here is I think a lot of people want, a highly valuable sound effect: the swing sounds to Luke Skywalker’s green lightsaber from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Here is a video demo of those sounds:
Now the biggest problem we face is how do we get them? The user suggests that anyone who wants them should use a YouTube downloader on this video, download it and convert it into .MP3 and cut up the sound files individually. I’m not too keen on this idea because YouTube is already a lossy quality on video and audio, and saving it to an .MP3 would lose even more audio info. Unfortunately, all my efforts to explain this to him have been fruitless. What I want to know is could someone try to explain to him as best as he/she can, convince him to send the sounds to that user via MediaFire, MEGA upload, whatever cloud storage site is best, then those sounds could be shared here as a .WAV format where they can be usable for video projects.

Sounds like he probably just got some stock saber sounds from other video games and just modified (mostly slowed down?) the sounds. There are ways to losslessly rip YouTube audio, but of course as you said the compression is already there (plus who knows what codec he rendered the video in, potentially leading to even more compression). Either way, here's an "uncompressed" rip of the audio. The spectrogram isn't showing *too much* compression overall: www.mediafire.com/file/uqtb4po053dphwh/Luke_Saber.wav/file

Hobo Peach , Beg pardon, but the link regarding the Republic Commando lines says that I require permission to access the files. I don’t know if anybody else is experiencing this same problem, but I just thought you should know this. Hey, Hobo Peach, thanks a ton for the campaign lines, really helpful there. I’m very pleased with them. I’m hoping to get a hold of the lines for the battle droids and super battle droids too, maybe the Wookiees as well. I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you for posting this. I haven't taken the time to convert any saber sounds, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to figure it out. Perhaps one day I'll try to grab the other saber sounds. There's a good amount of variation in Immortal Ep. III.

Hey all!
New to the forum - just looking for one sound in particular.
I've built a fully operating BB-8 and am looking to add the 'rolling' sound while the droid is moving. I've still got to figure out how I'm going to program the velocity, but that's for future me to figure out. I'm thinking a fade in/out on the volume when the droid is moving.
Anywho...
I checked the Battlefront 2 sound files and while BB-8 is one of the heroes, he's not in the list. Hopefully this could be updated with those files?
I did download the Lego Force Awakens files as well, and there are a few (somewhat) usable ones in there, but I'd like to have more options.
Thanks in advance!

arajedimaster1138 Had another attempt with the DI3.0 over the weekend.. It seems not all audio is within the .wem/.wav files as there is simply not enough of these archives to contain the games entire audio.. my assumption is the other audio is somewhat dynamically linked .bkh files (extracted from.bnk/.dbnk), though renaming these to .wem/ogg conversion does not work. Not to mention all sounds that can be converted to .ogg are not categorised into folders and are numbered randomly (for eg: Mickey Mouse dialogue is numbered after Iron Man dialogue).. So unless someone is prepared to sort through every .wem file (1400+), you could say I've hit a dead end on this one 😒... Well, maybe we haven’t hit a dead end quite just yet. Take a look here: groinkick.freeforums.net/post/9457/threadIt looks like somebody is looking into these sounds too, though he could use some help. Maybe you two could work things out, ask him to work out an archive of the sounds from Episodes I-VI only, help him with the other sounds, if possible. What do you say?

It's not really the top of my priorities atm.. best thing i can offer is upload a dump of all the converted .ogg's that are archived randomly (at least they appear to be).. if you're willing to sort through them, be my guest!.. he said his audio came out all weird sounding so don't know if any of it's usable...

thank you isolated it works great. sorry to bother you would you have wreckers blaster rifle sound preferably the one from the episode where his chip activates and he tries to kill the bad batch i could do that. yes. but ima challenge you. get mpc home cinema and use the ffdshow audio output. if you setup a custom matrix you can capture the audio using obs or whatever you use to capture. you can isolate the audio track in audacity (with ffmpeg plugin) or whatever can open the footage and export it to wav .i.imgur.com/KOdURz9.jpgnobody spotted that i.imgur.com/mW1qpi5.jpgyet?

Also if you have FFMPEG you can straight-up import video files into Audacity. 👌
