I'm building an Invisible Hand map for the original Battlefront games (I know SWBF3 Legacy is also doing one but I wanted my own go at one). I scratch-built the corridor system and heavily modified the hangar but DICE's did inform my approach.
At present, my plans are to have 9 command post areas, including the bridge. I won't be doing the observation tower - as cool as that would be, it wouldn't work as part of the map given you can't have elevators.

I forgot we had this thread! here are some of my renders from the past year or so.. A heavy mix of custom assets, and ones from various star wars games. All made in Blender! Troop Transport on Mimban VT-49 Decimator Deathtroopers Battle of Mimban (The DZ-70 was a custom mesh, inspired by it's appearance in SWG. The character is a mix of a lot of modified battlefront 2 meshes.) AT-DT (from force commander.. i went through a mimban phase lol) 'Correlian Lo-fi (My OC Ikiru she is made almost purely from custom made meshes at this point. Been slowly phasing out the battlefront 2 elements. Background is the TFTGE Cantina exported by Ducktrooper) GrandMoffTrash's Zabrak, Urswick. And I'll end with this recent one of Ikiru. I have a few others but some have aged rather badly. So may post some future renders later on.
