I tried this method. It didn’t work, maybe I did something wrong. Just asking, maybe there is a simpler way. Sorry to bother you. Other than Ninja Ripper and the Blender script I don't know of any easier way to get the models from Republic Heroes. When you said using the Blender script didn't work what did you mean? I've used it myself without any problems. I probably didn’t put the script correctly, drop it in the .blender / script folder. Pressed the combination of the key and not what does not come.

Open the blend file like a model file in Blender. Then you see a text file instead a model. Klick anywhere in the textfile and press Alt+P to run the Script. The rest is like and other script.

Hey, I extracted some weapons from SWBF2 (2017) but I have an issue. The trigger is not where it should be. Here is an example: Does anyone know how to fix this ?

It's not an issue, just how the model's rest pose is. The only way to fix it is by selecting the trigger polygons and repositioning them manually.

Also, does anyone knows how to use their marking textures on clone troopers ? I believe I need a custom shader but if anyone already sort it out I would really appreciate it

Looking to get the LEP droids from CWA. For whatever reason the export on the old blogspot only has the eyes on the associated textures.

Hey for those who are interested.. was surfing youtube and found a really handy tutorial for porting characters from Frostbite to UE4.. during the video, at 12:36 it also shows you another method on how to split the dreaded Normal map (& Metallic) channels from BF2 using GIMP.. The link is bookmarked at that time.

All you have to do to separate the normal and metallic textures is by deleting the un-needed channels. Takes literally 1 second in Photoshop (and GIMP too I imagine). The method in this video basically does the exact same thing, but a using a slightly more unnecessarily convoluted process.

Must be a step I've missed in Photoshop as it never displayed the the purple normal texture when disabling the other channels!?... Isn't that what the tutorial is for by Bad horse (as well as changing UV channels)?.. I remember you requesting to have them split/converted back at FP?

No, his tutorial was for changing normal maps from UV1 to UV2, which is completely different. Splitting the channels however is extremely simple. All you have to do once you delete the metallic channel is go to "Image>Mode>RGB" and it will change from yellow/orange to blue/purple as it should be.

Does anyone have the ability to get sound files from the Jedi Challenges AR game? Specifically the Seventh Sister Dialogue and lightsaber SFX? Also there's an awesome Holochess table with all the monsters, has that been extracted?

This is what I've got so far for the Dejarik table: I also have all the creatures however they won't come out rigged, only static meshes. The bones are separate from the meshes and I don't know how to fix them: Unfortunately I don't have a way to extract the audio from the game files. The audio looks to be compressed into container files that Asset Studio will not extract. Download please!

With Sketchfab, the model needs to be animated in order to extract the bones/default pose.. I might look into this for Marmoset Viewer.

Does anyone know how to export from CWA at a higher quality? The version on the blogspot are not exactly complete nor of the highest possible quality. It also has a chunck of textures that are just broken.

There's better quality with bumpmaps and stuff in republic heroes. That has limited locations tho. As far as completeness is a thing, the characters on the blog i know are complete afaik. The props are a whole 'nother beast. There are ~6700 variatons of ~5500 meshes in the game. You want all of this? Go ahead and try then. This is how you sort the files imgur.com/6uNZVdm and the work in progress xtractor plugin for noesis www.mediafire.com/file/39v5gg5t9touilb/cwa_rigged_wip.rar (thx to dazzy for pushing me todo atleast that). Have fun.
