I wonder why they didn't just ask DICE for their model and de-poly it a bit? I know it would need re-rigging, but I heard they did use and alter the DICE Stormtroooper. There's a ton of DICE BF assets. There's literally an entire directory in the files called "From DICE". There's also one with assets from Project Ragtag. Then that makes the use of a diferent clone trooper model more perplexing.

CZWYes You are right. But this is not what i mean. They have reduced the models especially for the Dogfights. Other Models are realy Highpoly and First Class. Other Theme. I´ve tried to apply Textures to the Bracca Barge. Is it possible they used 2 differnt UV maps ? Nothing matches together. Same with the Cutter. Does pskx Format support 2 UV ?

Does pskx Format support 2 UV ? polys depends of the scene .. if it's static, yes you can have high polys but for dogfights, we got medium meshes, and for background, low meshes differents LOD i will take a look on Bracca barge as soon as i got free time

Just was looking at these for a texture request... corraashu ...You saved the .FBX in ascii format, anyone using Blender will not be able to import an FBX-ascii, they have to FBX Binary... 2017 would be best as it also will not load legacy versions... all the texture names in Blender read as 慭捴潬敮牴潯数彲歳湩畟灰牥䍟1琮慧...nothing you can do about native language...but for those that are using blender...better to just pick the parts then apply the maps ...ie: outer parts are all skins, and inner parts are color...the actual texture maps are named accordingly... Was the latest version of Umodel supposed to fix crashing when opening some meshes? Because I've gone through most of what I assume are the meshes and they all result in the program crashing.

Using Umodel dated 20191125 I'm only getting the very occasional crashes, and have been able to view and export most meshes/textures/animations -- didn't even have to extract with QuickBMS. Are you using the "-game=jedi" option when launching?

yep. testing on the sister (corra forgot the load of detail textures). got some crashes. you can figure it out. if meshes reference 'broken' textures it hits the wall. you can bypass it, when not loading textures (in the boot menu) when previewing the meshes, then extract the textures (except the glitchy one) after it. easy.

It would be awesome if someone could export the A99 aquata breather of the game. Hope it can be done. A-99 Aquata Breather (Underwaterbreather) Kx-Serie Droid (Brawlerdroid) with Animations. For Test i include an FBX with Deathanimation. All in this Folder JFO Folder

The PSA animation file can be read into 3DS Max using the ActorX import script, or into Unwrap3D as part of the the PSK import filter. At least in the case of this AT-ST, the mesh and textures are virtually identical to those used by DICE, except that the workflow uses roughness instead of smoothness.
