apparently nox got an older 64-bit beta version. it's for another game, but i'll try to run this one on it. will be back with results. hopefully good.
edit: tried nox64 for teamfight tactics. nothing. nox 64 is not a 64 bit executable in the first place. i dunno how it would emulate 64bit, code stuffs. w/e
next try: memuplay is allegedly 64 compatible. hope it can shared cache files via a filemanager.
okay memuplay won't install it. shite...
just btw, the config.arm64_v8a.apk seems to be basicly a loader executable and the unity engine binaries as 64-bit version. kinda like source engine uses a loader and engine binaries to load their games. atleast that's what it looks like.
that's it for now ("lunch break")... tbc...

Are these old backclogs or is the new version working? These are from the game before the 0.95 update. I don't think the latest version of the game made any changes to the models, only the UI and gameplay but since we can't play it at the moment I can't confirm this.

From my understanding this game will release worldwide and on IOS as well on the 17th. Also the game now works if you use the APK for 0.98 on this website with Bluestacks apkpure.com/star-wars%E2%84%A2-starfighter-missions/com.joymax.starwarsstarfighterNote that they've done something to the servers so downloads are extremely slow.

will see what i can xtract later. edit: seems it's indeed the same content for now. it's got just ~70 megs more data.

Warhammer_81 , The models you uploaded last (quasar and raider) the .fbx's were just raw exports correct? Do i have to edit them in anyway or was that only for the .obj versions? Is the boss model the same as the highest detailed LOD?, or is the Boss model a completely different model? 1. The models were exported from AssetSrudio "as-is", just a direct dump with no editing on my behalf. 2. You don't have to edit them unless you want to. If you compare the way the basic dump looks to the models I've released you can see for yourself what I did to them. It's all subjective to what you personally want out of the models. 3. The OBJ models are just unassembled raw dumps of all the mesh data. 4. No, the Boss models are not 100% the same as the LOD0 models, that's why they are included as separate dumps. Any chance you can rip the models in this way since it's possible to extract now again?

Awesome, how did you get the animations or did you do them yourself? Also any chance for more Starfighter missions ships now that it supposedly works? The game is back to being locked down again for us and there isn't a normal APK released yet for the main game and as far as i know it hasn't added anything new since we last dumped the game, plus having the game working or not working doesn't effect the files already dumped from before. He's probably just busy with other things and will get back to working on SW:SM when he gets a chance.

Awesome, how did you get the animations or did you do them yourself? Also any chance for more Starfighter missions ships now that it supposedly works? I had to create custom animations for it because the original model's parts didn't line up properly. You can extract the original animations by importing the models into Zero Editor and exporting the models from there. Unfortunately not all the models have animations or some animations are missing. Star Wars Starfighter Missions is back to not working again since version 1.03 came out but I still have all the data from v0.98 and earlier. I'm struggling with getting the second set of UVs out though. Most of the models use two sets of UV coordinates for the skins which is proving difficult to extract. I managed to extract the second set of UVs for the Slave One model but it needs the textures re-baked to work with the second set of UV coordinates. Unity does this on the fly in-game so the models can use multiple UV sets at the same time with no problems. Some models I can extract with multiple UV sets while others I can't. It's a limitation of the tools I have to extract the models unfortunately. Asset Studio can't even extract models with more than one UV set so I have to use other tools which don't always work. That's very odd so far i haven't had a single problem with a second uv layer and i've tested it out on the A-wing( uv2 normal map) Tie interceptor,Defender (multiple skins) and Slave 1. That could be because i was able to get AssetStudio to export every model in the game as FBX instead of OBJ, also i'm using AssetStudio.v0.15.23 if that helps any.

FYI the game has been updated and now has some new content! They have added the B-Wing Prototype and the TIE Advanced V1 as player ships! They've also changed a few gameplay elements and features as well. I'll work on releasing the new stuff when I get the chance!

Just curious, do these ships and the newer ones include the raw unedited meshes?, was it .fbx or .obj that was unassembled when exported?

Just curious, do these ships and the newer ones include the raw unedited meshes?, was it .fbx or .obj that was unassembled when exported? None of the files I've released contain the original unedited models with the exception of the two I specifically released for you of the Quasar and Raider-II. The un-assembled models are dumped as .obj files, the .fbx files usually contain the fully assembled models with bones and animations where available. You should know that the .obj files do not contain both UV channels, only .FBX files support more than one UV map channel. This will be an issue going forward since many of the models have two UV channels for the additional skins. I'm debating with how to properly release these going forward. 3DS Max and .FBX have no problems using both UV channels but with the .obj models I will have to re-bake the textures to use a single map channel for them to work properly.

Aha, can you release UNEDITED .fbx (Raw export only) files of ships in the future aswell?

Thanks, this was already shared earlier in this thread but it's outdated now. Star Wars Starfighter Missions is currently at version 1.21 with additional content added since August 2020. Most recently they added a bunch of new levels featuring the Sphyrna-class Hammerhead corvette and Interdictor-class Star Destroyer. They also added the VCX-100 Ghost as a player-flyable ship as well as the TIE Defender Elite.

I don't have the models uploaded or access to them atm but they also added the Hammerhead Corvette and Interdictor both based on the Rogue one (HammerHead) and Rebels Design (interdictor). Looks like they took the Rogue One model and reduced it's poly count by a lot because they look identical. I don't have a render of the Interdictor but it's almost the same as the Rebels version but seems to not be fully finished because in some places on the greebles the AO is there but no greebles over them.

Has anyone by chance figured out the texturing for Iden Versio's TIE Fighter? I've been trying to figure it out but just haven't had any luck.

Has anyone by chance figured out the texturing for Iden Versio's TIE Fighter? I've been trying to figure it out but just haven't had any luck. It's probably because the model uses two UV channels for the textures. The Albedo, RMA, Normal, and Emissive textures are applied to UV channel 1 while the color decals and paint are applied to UV channel 2.

They almost look like poly-dropped SWBF EA models in those poses. Though TBH with a bit of texture editing that TIE Pilot could look better than the stock one from 2004's Battlefront.
Is it Unity-based? If there's a cache dump available or an apk somewhere, I might see about grabbing the .apk myself and having a go at grabbing models from it.
It definitely is, there's actually a full rip of the game on deviantart. Does the model files in this dump contain the different LOD's?
