yeh... this particular head diffuse alpha is the specular mask for the skin shader, but in the hair shader it's used to store the transparency. a material thing. i.imgur.com/BsIQ1Ku.jpgbasicly it's a texture storage optimization to run this fast in engine. w/e explanation. just check all the channels for data and plug it and you should be good. on the blender end of things. just enable the node wrangler addon and you should get this figured out.

Use either Separate By Material or Loose Parts under in Edit Mode, Mesh>Separate>By Material etc. it has no materials assigned. can't split by material. it's about gettin' those on there. split by parts could actually work tho... yes. models with loads of "hair cards" will blow up in the outliner tho. Yep! I made that mistake once on a hair mesh that was 3 different textures and a gazillion Hair Cards!! If no texture is assigned...but there is a workable UV your way of Islands is the way to go...Fairly easy to hover over an area and Hit L in edit mode...as far as hair I have split it off by manually selecting and then separating by selection ... and then just Hide the hair and then split the rest of the mesh by parts...You can check the hair and see if the island method works on it... all in all...just a matter of working bit by bit...

Glad you like them cptrex, Still slowly working on the Star Trek Online characters. The issue is having to rig them and the fact that the Klingons are weird with how their textures are set up. As the texture for the forehead ridges is a separate image from the texture for the face itself.

cptrex, Until now the only source of Star Trek characters that weren't old quake 3 (Star Trek Voyager Elite Force) quality were the DAZ3D community (but I'm find those to be a bit problematic) that Temporal Cold War mod for Half Life 2 and the Star Trek 2013 game. Not much.

johnfleetadmiral01 ,Do you have the mesh for McCoy? In the archive you posted there's textures for him but I can't find any model. In the time before you release the new STO models I've had fun 3D printing characters instead of ships. My painting isn't the best but considering how small they are I'm happy with how they've turned out and am kinda eager to finish the trifecta. i.imgur.com/2zy7rA1.jpg

Okay so I can confirm that yesterday's update was Fleet Command's final Discovery content update.
It had Mirror Universe Tilly, Mirror Universe Georghio, Captain Lorca, and the Ship of the Dead.
It would appear that they will be kicking off the new years with another 'Trek series. Please be TOS, please be TOS, please be TOS, I want my boi Classic Kirk.

I know that all of them are coming so TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT.
Who knows maybe after all those characters are released I'll do a remaster of the very first CG Star Trek fanfilm I ever saw, Bring Back Kirk.

After playing Fleet Command for a few months, it's amazing to see the character models on here that everyone has worked so hard on, but does anyone have any of the ships? There are a lot of interesting models in here, and the information thief model is so unique that it could work for a variety of projects.

The ships are probably the hardest thing to get because like most mobile games the model's files don't actually load onto your drive until they actually appear in game. This can usually be solved with the shipyard vendor which shows the 3D model of the ship in full view. But...... About 2/3rds of them are locked away until you level your station up to level 38 or 39. I'm presently at level 25. Which I admit is really frustrating because one level up is either wait wait wait or throw down $100-$200 every week. Which I really don't like either option.
