So this is a thread for requesting maps from Star Wars games.
Please bear in mind that maps are usually made of thousands of parts so it might be impossible to export full maps (with the exception of 2005 BFII if you use unity)
BF 2015 and 2017 is an example of maps with thousands of parts.

i'm a clone wars nut. i know republic heroes can be fully extracted. cwa not so much. on a random note: a shot of the first 'level' for a untitled game attempt. i.imgur.com/CMCBRGm.png i dunno why it was so hard to model this. replica ocd. xD

You don't have the republic heroes levels do you? Also do you have links to the mobile game maps you ripped?, was it force arena? Also i see what you made there ;P Is it possible to rip terrain from CWA?, specifically Ryloth and umbara?

ofc i have all the game data - not extracted rn tho. it's still work to process it. try that yourself and you'll get it.
and i don't see any "terrain" files in cwa. the whole levels seem stored in kinda grid chunks. the file data is not readable (i can't) tho. so...

Mostly asked if you already extracted them in the past, not asking you to do it. About CWA theres no heightmap or map plane?, as in the terrain isn't 1 big 3d model?

well. yes, i extracted for testing purpose and script writing but not all of it. but... me being bored... it's possible to get the cwa terrain. the textures are stored in the gck2 (compressed - dds) files and the geometry and prop location data is in the gcnk (compressed - raw) files. the cloud is there but the face index array is a lil finicky. i think i may have to code a bit in noesis then. i.imgur.com/7qMqFPz.pngand... no... there is no 'whole' terrain. this example is just one chunk (256 x 256 units) of the 'map', which' header i haven't found yet, tho.

Is there a map of it in fallen order?
Is it easier to download the CWA emulator and import the scene into unity? (since it's made in unity)
Also is it possible to rip terrain from battlefront 2? (only the ground not trees, structures)

Wow is that the entire map or just a part of it? Just curious i haven't played fallen order but does it have a umbara map? I dont need props on the map Does the script work for ryloth aswell?

ehh. this is most of the map. the 3 left chunks still throwing errors somehow. gotta iron that out. and... well it should work with most of the maps - those that are not made from props and models only. also... i dunno much fallen order content. i haven't played it (yet?). you want those maps? try umodel then. i'd imagine it's a bunch more work to puzzle together.

positioning aside... it's written already. i mean... it's the model importer aka the adr+dsk+dme(-dma atm) loader. i just gotta fix it (damn bone map and index overflow errors). and i gotta figure out howto generate seperate models/meshes/objects in noesis. and i gotta throw all the dds into one giant folder again to be able to track/load those files directly. i seperated all textures by usage already. so... yeh

I was wondering, has anyone found any success ripping maps from SWTOR? I know ripping entire scenes is impossible with 3d ripper dx (unfortunately).

due to demand i did a lil (4h) more chunk data "decoding" for cwa. it does atleast felucia safely for now. the props are checked, but not loaded rn, since the model loader is still incomplete and kinda broken. as before it's all wip and debug stuff. if you find more error chunk types let me know. or maybe try to add them yourself. www.mediafire.com/file/jj6959urtt9zw8e/xtrctr_swcwa_v2.rar

ima have to drop it here. i can't figure out the damn prop rotation and scale matrix stuff. this noesis python is a kinda shit code syntax. i only tested the asteroid and felucia chunk files. kinda works, the prop locations seem to be correct, the script is slow af, might look like crashing (it's commnly just crashing the debug console), while kinda working in the background and eventually finishing. still all wip and debug. if you wanna pick it up and code it further, go ahead. no credits required. just dew it. www.mediafire.com/file/ilv6mpgmsq5w933/xtrctr_swcwa_v3.rar

dlight, What would i have to do to extract the TERRAIN only from the umbara map?, without props only the ground. Also is it possible to either rip map terrain from BF2 2017 or take a top down picture of maps such as: Kashyyyk Yavin Naboo Sullust (also what is the name for the ground textures) Bespin Scarif Endor Geonosis Tatooine Kessel D'qar Felucia If possible I only need the ground (no props needed)

I don't really do any map stuff personally. Are you asking about Battlefront in particular? There's no way that I'm aware of, but I'm curious if BadHorse's assembly tool could also assemble maps?

Just terrain alone, there are thousands of bits and pieces per map. Assembling all that by hand would be impossible, which is why I brought up BadHorse's script.

Do you know anything about the mapping?, like what the blueprints and meshes for terrain are?

Do you know anything about the mapping?, like what the blueprints and meshes for terrain are? ooh. the last time i looked into this i saw a bunch of heightfield and/but no mesh data. this might be only on "flat" style maps like kashyyk tho. more "deformed" terrain maps probably use other "prop" mesh data for cliffs and stuff like that. anyway. lemme see if i can harvest umbara from cwa. i'm kinda bored. "throws it" #2. wtf is this container crap? i dunno. it's not sparking. the rest is as inconsistent code. ehh... i.imgur.com/l9XRewQ.png
