hello all, I did post this in the Star wars: Commander thread also a couple weeks ago, but I was wondering if anyone might have the models for the Elite AT-TE, Cold-weather Mobile Heavy Cannon, Anti-Vehicle Skiff, E-9 Explorer, Cold Weather AT-MP Mark III? I know the game is no longer around. I don't know if anyone got them before it went down.

FYI for the Daz folks: DAZ ConversionsI updated the Imperial Officer outfit to include code cylinders and the colonel and lieutenant rank plates from SWS. They're on rigid attachments, so the meshes don't morph with the base character, but they have to be adjusted slightly for poses. I've also added a conversion of the Obi-Wan armour for G8F, and scout trooper for G8M.

Thought the blue channel had the gloss/roughness but it actually turned out to be the diffuse! As if there weren't enough packing combos. Seems to be with the objects which only have one UV map. Any idea why they're different? Attachments:

Any idea why they're different? what am i looking at? the grayscale looks like a roughness map, but it seems inverted. the other one seems a lil more complex. the green channel seems useless, but could be metalness. depends on the color. both red and blue seem to be metallic edge wear and scaring which would be a specular value, since those are usually envmaps in game engines. they can also be used as specular mask for direct lighting tho. again... this is kinda complex multi-use shading. is this frostbite? as long as the shaders can't be replicated precisely, you might aswell just grab it and fiddle with it until it looks good.

Any chance you have Moff Gideon? As a matter of fact he's next on my to-do list. I've got Admiral Piett, Moff Gideon, The Mandalorian Armorer, Mando in his Beskar Armor, and Grogu in his hover carriage. yea well nobody has gotten sith eternal palpatine or any of the exogol maps ben solo should also be in the files now can you please include those i your next update as well as the new jedi master luke in the game

i was wondering if people here would be interested and capable in creating models of the high republic variety? i read a couple chapters of light of the jedi this evening. was kinda inspiring to attempt some shots of animation. afaik a saber is collectible in squadrons. and i know there are a couple of reference sheets on starwars.com, that'd help designing the characters too. the design is more or less stylized, means not photo realistic. makes it easier, you know?!?
i will for sure try some of them.

I've been painstakingly recreating the clone training facility from clone wars in unreal. A combination of battlefront models and models I've made. Still a work in progress. Very new to lighting and asset creation.

Very new to lighting and asset creation. painstakingly? that means i can count the squares, right? yep. i know what a pain that is. i done this replica too. lighting it is kinda easy. you need 4 giant lamps in the corners to create the "stadium lights" for the walls and floor and cast shadows from those walls and towers and obstacles. if you use a more gray texture you don't need to push much light into the interior at all. means you fake most of the "stadium lamps". you could make static/bake the rest of the lights on the upper rim. they are mostly "decorative". if you aim for the cgi look you should be careful with the reflections on the floor too. /2cent i got it mostly done in ue. left unfinished. so... not much help on the finish line from me, sorry.

slowly coming out of hyperspace? bit by bit? i already shot the whole package. i dunno if the obj and max are worth it to wait for. the models are rigged, the obj is useless, cause it's boneless. and max is well... 3dsmax only format. it's like i released those as blend files. nope. general format only.
about those renders too. if you tryna run it like a daily release schedule, you'd consider putting a better background in there? i'm sure you can save a default file with a photobooth backdrop and some lamps in 3ds max. just something more pleasing then this plain blue screen. and how about a watermark?
nvm tho. do w/e
