Using the Nox emulator you can set your device location to Seoul, South Korea and then download the Star Wars Starfighter Missions app from the Google Play Store, or you can try using a VPN. I've got version 0.81 of the app right now and I can confirm the .apk doesn't contain all the game assets, only the UI stuff. It has a nice low-poly model of the Death Star I from Battlefront (2015) though. I've got the rest of the assets and, wow this game has a lot more ships than I ever expected! Along with all of the standard Imperial, Rebel, First Order, and Resistance ships are more than a few others I was surprised were included (not counting all the skins as separate ships though)! I know at least some of these ship models have never appeared in any other games. {Ships I didn't expect *SPOILERS*:} First Order TIE Interceptor First Order TIE Bomber First Order Xi-class light shuttle First Order Mega-class Star Dreadnought Supremacy First Order Upsilon-class command shuttle TIE Advanced V1 TIE Defender (Elite) from Rebels Phantom 1 Phantom 2 VCX-100 Ghost Clone Wars Z-95 Headhunter HWK-290 TIE Brute NR-2 Y-Wing Slave One Nebulon-C Anodyne VT-49 Decimator U-55 orbital loadlifter MG-100 Starfortress Arquitens-class light cruiser Raider II-class corvette Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier Gozanti-class Assault Carrier Braha'tok-class gunship Free Virgillia-class Bunkerbuster
Wow!, i guess ill have to wait until somebody can rip it in the future, isn't there a VSD model aswell? Is it as easy to rip as commander, GoH and force arena? No, there's no model of a VSD anywhere in all the assets I've looked at. I'm not sure where you got the idea of a VSD being in the game. I can make a list of all the ships and locations currently in the game assets as of version 0.81. Yes, the assets are very easy to extract, it's built on the Unity game engine so no problems there. The game plays a lot like a Shmup version of SWGoH. It's very grindy and heavily focuses on loot drops for materials, datatapes, and credits to level up your ships/characters. It's a nice looking game and has some interesting assets, but I'm afraid right now there just isn't much gameplay variety. The further you level up the more difficult it becomes to maintain your squad, pushing you heavily into buying more "resources". It's pretty much the same business model as all other free-to-play MMO games with heavy focus on micro-transactions. It's very playable and fully in the English language with some occasional poor English localization.

Does anyone have an AT-ACT model? Star Wars Battlefront (2015) has a model of the AT-ACT but it's not as detailed as the up-close models.

Here's the AT-ACT from Star Wars Battlefront II (2017), keep in mind it's pretty low-poly since you never get to see them up close in the game.

What about the one in battlefront 1? Those are in it and are actual walkers used ingame so they should look better

That's not the model I've seen in SWBF2 in-game, BTW. The ones I've seen are literally low poly AT-ATs with the cargo pod shoved in. If this was in the assets, wonder why they chose not to use it.
The Pinball FX one is better quality, IMO.

Yeah that's the same one as posted by Warhammer this is the Battlefront 2 version. Didn't feel like fixing the box texture just to show it, As i said a box shoved into it.

I have a question for everyone, should I release the Star Wars Starfighter Missions content using a "Spoiler" tag so as not to ruin any surprises for people wanting to discover things in the game on their own, or should I just go ahead and release the content publicly without worrying about potential spoilers?

I have an anti-spoiler rule in place that content from any newly-released game must utilize spoiler tags for 30 days after the game has officially released; so from now until November 2nd, spoiler tags must be used for Star Wars: Squadrons content in this thread, OR you can post the content without spoiler tags in the Squadrons thread.

I'm really interested to see those models, especially the braha'tok-class gunship since I'm making one myself, is it based on the RO style?

Yes, it’s basically identical to the model seen in Rogue One with a bit less detail but the same paint scheme, gun turrets, and overall mesh details. The one seen at the Battle of Endor in RotJ looks different. There’s a nice custom model of that version in the Fate of the Galaxy mod.

Warhammer_81, I just realized now that you were asking about the Starfighter Missions mobile game (which I had no idea existed until a few minutes ago!) I assumed you were referring to Squadrons. It doesn't look like there's really any new story content, at least from what I could tell, so I don't think a spoiler ban is necessary for it, unless there is any story content that I missed. We should still keep discussions in the Starfighter Mission thread though, in case there is anyone here who would consider that stuff to be spoiler-y.

Is the Dice BFI and BFII ISD based on Fractalsponges ISD model or is it based on movie props?

Is the Dice BFI and BFII ISD based on Fractalsponges ISD model or is it based on movie props? Likely the movie prop, as per johnfleetadmiral01's reply in that thread it's not based upon Fractalsonge's ISD.

Yes the proportions are very very different between the two. Trust me I know I remember doing a direct side by side comparison. So we got Fractalsponge's ISD on the left the Battlefront on the right. A number of differences. Attachments:

Is the Dice BFI and BFII ISD based on Fractalsponges ISD model or is it based on movie props? They would never base their assets on fan-made creations, that would be very unprofessional. They of course have access to basically everything at Skywalker Ranch, and have scanned the actual film-used props.

Maybe I'll make a face rig for them once I'm done with my Star Trek project. If you know how to rig faces like weight paint for face bones PLEASE teach me! I do it in Blender and for the most part the Weight paints pretty much just work automatically it's really a matter of making sure your bones are properly positioned. I'd recommend checking out the YouTube channel Royal Skies LLC. His tutorials are very to the point, if you were planning on having a go at the TFU faces as well.
