Nah, Nifscope is a Bethesda archive and .Nif file viewer -Maker etc...things like Skyrim or Fallout or any game that uses .bsa archives and also for .nif files. It will import and export .obj files only. I use it to create add-ons for Skyrim SE all the time. In fact I just created 4 new armor sets last week... There is nothing there to deal with .mesh files...only perhaps after the .mesh is decompressed as most are just a compression tool, that can be opened with 7zip ( sometimes)... There is a Blender .nif plugin on the github site but it quit working back on Blender 2.79...and has never been updated. If anyone is interested, I found this tool to open .mesh files chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jorodox-tools/pmhbboeiannanamjandkhiakpaaoecoo?hl=en. It converts the .mesh to .dae. From what I've seen so far, they are low poly and the textures aren't all that great, they just need some TLC. For those who know Fractalsponges work, there are several of his models. Hi there, I'm looking to develop a game about the life of a clone trooper eventually, but first I'm honing my animation skills on Blender. If anybody has a good blender model for a map that a battle could take place, I would love to have it. What kind of map are you looking for? If an outdoors, forest etc. then you could just use Blender and all the included plug-ins to create, you would need to get some resources ( trees, grass, boulders etc) and use them within the included scatter plugin and build the base out of the landscape plugin...you would need to retopo afterwards to get the resolution down to a manageable size... If you want ship interiors and the like...I would build it with assets like straight, t-junctions and corner sections...I would recommend exporting to Unreal to build the game. ( or Unity but I prefer Unreal...it just works better and has a better workflow.) I'm preferably looking for something like a ship corrider, or a hanger platform, and don't you worry, i'm using UE4

I'm preferably looking for something like a ship corrider, or a hanger platform, and don't you worry, i'm using UE4 You could grab BadHorse 's Crashed CR90 from Battlefront... that should give you enough assets to create several different interiors, after you clean out the rubble, as seen in his render. Also you could look for the Tanitive interior, it was shared a while back...but it needed some serious work. Haven't seen a landing bay or hanger in some time, and not one that was fully fleshed out, no clutter crates or anything, so would need all those things grabbed from other rips, like the Fondor Landing dock, or the Lucre which has an interior included.

A test render with Maul's "Old Master" skin shared here - Rendered in Blender Cycles that looks sweet, how did you do the facial animation? i know that corraashu posted a bunch of animations and it tried playin with them but i have no clue how post the animation on the mesh in blender. i try selecting all and ctrl p and parent armature but that doesnt work. my obi wan (hes who im testin with) comes with his own skeleton. he comes with 6 or 7 one for each mesh part. and then i import the animation fbx and i can see what its trying to do with the bones from the armature that came with the animation but i dont know how to put that only the obi wan model?

Are you trying to Use the .FBX with that node? Or were the models from XnaLara? If from Xnalara, all you need to do is import the model...you need to add lights ...either regular lighting set up or use a HDRI ( recommend you use a HDRI, then point lights to enhance ) also for the basic import...it will only work correctly using Cycles Render. If you want to use eeVee then you have to change the hair, lashes...check all the mesh parts! To see if under shader > settings > alpha blend is set to Hashed and not alpha blend....and most imports add alpha blend to every mesh part...eveything but hair and lashes need to be set to Opaque. If you are using the .FBX import, dump the xps shader, and use a Principled BSDF, and plug in correct textures and alpha fro the diffused texture to the alpha connection on the principled... Just added some views in the HELP section...

Anyone know where I can get deathwatch characters like bo-katan? Also maybe some customizable eta-2 starfighters. And is there a good model of the Eclipse anywhere? Also a Battlefront star destroyer would be nice

I know I might be a little early in asking this, but does anyone have a good Xyston-class Star Destroyer model? I'm planning on recreating the massive fleet on Exegol and don't know if there are any good models out as of now. If not, I'll work with the standard Imperial Star Destroyers I have now.

unfortunetly i am not a realy good modder but i made this mesh mod reguarding bo katan using katee sackhofs head model that i got from a friend of mine. the armor is a reshaped and retextured jango fett armor from tfu. Damn, that's really amazing nonetheless though. Do you mind sharing the hair mesh if possible?

Blerg. Somehow my two year old erased my entire My Docs folder on my PC. I had a backup, but unfortunately it didn't have any of the many models I'd downloaded from the old days on facepunch. I've been able to recover most of the stuff form the links posted here and backup restore software I have. One model I can't find anywhere is the MC-42 by Howard Day. I've combed all the download archives on here and can't seem to find it. If you happen to have a copy it would me most appreciated if you could post a link. Thanks.
