well... enderian ... you could ask the author if he wants to release or sell the raw files. it was uploaded 3 days, so... he/she/it might be around. in case hsi wants to sell you gotta be quick before i have to delete it again.

this got a source code or author info? cause... just an exe is suspicious and a NOPE. it could be from sketchfab themselves to track the 'piracy' and hand out papers. so... without public source code or author info you should take this link down. security measure.

^My thoughts exactly. I have no problem with anyone talking about or sharing programs or plugins for extracting these models, but I probably won't allow these models by individual artists to be posted here. If it's your own work, then that is fine. And for anyone that may be watching, if you see anyone sharing your work without your permission then just PM me and I'll remove it.

Hi all. I'm guessing my question Mar 21 was overlooked because I messed up my post. I have figured out how to apply textures in blender and the order in which to apply N,D,C,S. The problem I'm having now is where the AO,M and R etc are placed. Would someone give me the order in which to apply ALL textures? I've looked all over to find this info and all I get is a description of what each letter means, not the order of applying them.

Thanx for the reply Rancor022. I didn't think it mattered what program I used. What order do you apply the textures in C4D?

Nice weapons pack! I'm assuming some of those models are shared with SWBF/SWBF2?

I've been looking at the models on the Trello archive and noticed some of them are .glm files and am wondering what program people are using to open and modify those models? I tried finding a plugin for blender but didn't have any luck.

Bingabong2020. Just remembered something. If you want to try Milkshape 3d, you'll need the ghoul 2 plugin. Find it here www.milkshape3d.com/ms3d/download.html. Just scroll down the plugin list to download. Milkshape is easy to use. Import model and export it. Textures are applied. You're best bet would be OBJ format as the export options are limited.

Dar'el, Ducktrooper, Thanks for the tips, I'll give milkshape a try. I had seen the blender plugin when i was first searching for a way to open them and installed an older version of blender and tried the plugin but kept getting an error where it said it couldn't find the associated .gla file even when I set the file path manually so I figured it was more trouble than it was worth.

I have one that I made up, only basic diffuse and an emissive shader and you will need to scale it to fit. It is a Blender 2.82 file. Get it HERE

Yeah I find that one the other day. When I put in blender that thing was HUGE! So big you cant see it on blender. If you zoom out you can see some of the model but it disappears if you go any farther. So it needs to be scaled down...like by alot.

If you have'nt noticed, Blender will import Milkshape (MS3D) files.

You just plug all the textures in however you want in C4D. My bad. Didn't mention that I was using UV editor to apply textures( I figured it out). I realized where you were coming from when I began learning how to use nodes. I'll make sure My requests for help are clear in the future. Just so you know what I meant by "order" The pic on the left is correct (N,S,C). The right pic is wrong(N,C,S). These are just quick renderings to show what I was trying to figure out.
