I finally updated my old Star Wars Starfighter pirate freighter model. It is now the Lok Revanant Freighter-B (with updated UVs and better looking upscaled textures): I also updated the Trade Federation Droid Bomber in a similar way On an interesting side tangent I discovered you can alter the PC game files and repack them and the game will still run! I have not fully tested everything out but I can confirm at least swapping out textures and altering the .C3PO files works! Using a hex editor I was able to edit the .C3PO files to reference different .PMDL assets and the game still worked. However the ships can't use any weapons and the exterior view is the only camera angle that works. Those textures look great! If you don't mind my asking, which upscaler did you use? Also, fascinating work on the code edits. I've often wondered how difficult that would be for Star Wars Starfighter

Can somebody Import these vehicles I need them for stuff Imperial Troop Carrier Tracked Mobile Base I have made some progress on the Imperial Troop Carrier but wasn't able to perfectly rip the model, resulting in some small detail warping. In the process, I also lost my work on the Tracked Mobile Base and will have to start that one from scratch. I can post the Carrier if you like, but the model isn't perfect.

The blue and red ones are for the multiplayer mode and the striped one is labeled "nsf_adv" (Naboo Starfighter Advanced, possibly). The Naboo Police Cruiser was only seen in Star Wars Battle For Naboo, as far as I know

Those textures look great! If you don't mind my asking, which upscaler did you use? Also, fascinating work on the code edits. I've often wondered how difficult that would be for Star Wars Starfighter The AI upscaler I used is here: imgupscaler.com/It's not perfect but it seems to work reasonably well most of the time. It's always subjective whether you will like the end results or not and I use it on a case-by-case basis. It tends to work better with images that don't have many curved lines or rounded shapes. I'm sometimes amazed at the details it can tease out of a 32x32 or 64x64 pixel image. The Blue and Red versions are used to differentiate Player 1 and 2 during multiplayer/co-op games. The Black and Yellow striped version is never used in the final game or during multiplayer. I think it was a leftover asset from early in development like the "Protector 2" model. Its filename "nsf_adv" suggests it was meant to be an "advanced" version of the N-1 starfighter. You can fly an "Experimental N-1 starfighter" in the game by using the cheat code "BLUENSF". The Experimental N-1 starfighter in the game uses the Blue skin for the N-1 but I think originally this version was supposed to use the Yellow and Black stripped skin instead. I have no idea why it was changed later, perhaps as a reference to the Naboo Police Cruiser seen in the Battle for Naboo game.

does this also extact dme files without losing uv data ? ps2l is the program i used to extract the pak files from cwa. i tried installing the script but i dont understand the instructions. all i need are all the lurmen pods and baskets converted from dme to obj with uv data intact.

yes it does so internally. it extracts both uv sets if present. this will not work with obj files tho. that will only export the first uv set. so you gotta export to fbx to get some/all of the meshes to work that use baked ambient occlusion textures.

thank you so much works perfectly i will be sure to post what maridun looks like in bf1 classic when its done. also if you wouldnt mind converting the snailtank as the absolutely last dme to fbx i would appreciate it. the name of it in the cwa files is Ship_MobileShieldGenerator_LOD0. many thanks for converting those lurmen props.

is the maridun separatist base in the cwa files ? and the the trees ? the only trees i found that were in obj form were 2d. these are the last pieces i really need to make a good maridun map for classic bf1. maybe the boulders and the shield generator too but mainly the base and trees.

That is because they only exist as 2D background objects in the game. Unfortunately there are no fully modeled 3D trees on the Maridun map. Here’s a YouTube video showing exactly what I mean:
