Are you able to get the model off of jedipedia or does it just tell you where its located in the files?

Are you able to get the model off of jedipedia or does it just tell you where its located in the files? You can get the file directly from jedipedia, by using the developer console...just open the console BEFORE you click View 3d...you will see all the .gr2 files as well as the textures loading... I'm not sure what people are using to convert the .gr2 files as I haven't kept up with this format...LOOK through the threads...I think Noesis works, and Quick-BMS. To grab the files just right click and select open in new tab...

Anyone have time to grab this model for this poor Mac user? swtor.jedipedia.net/en/npc/gemini-prime-2Would also accept Mac tools to rip it myself. I can grab the gr2 files that the site loads, just can't find a way to load them into Blender, or convert them to something Blender can read.

Funny you should say that... I'm a blender user having an issue with (seemingly only) the SWTOR models, in that the mesh itself is distorted and changes with the rotation of the camera. It almost looks like there are overlapping models within the mesh, but there is only one mesh in the file. I have tried using the 3D print tools, normal remapping, Decimating, and even tried the boolean merge function on intersecting faces (over 4k in the Fury model) Could anyone please point me in the direction of a guide that can help me fix this?

Thank you for the suggestion, I tried it and the textures "pop" much more now, but it didnt solve the core problem. It is very likely I am not using the correct terminology for the issue (still learning, sorry). Here is a screencap of the effect Im dealing with: imgur.com/TJOkz4Eimgur.com/m6glqJuThe issue is persistent across the entire model, and the overlaps change as the camera rotates

the are z-buffer precision artefacts. you scaled the model too large. also make sure the view camera clip start is not too low, and the clip end not too high.

Well now, that was an easy fix (too many zeros in the clip start threshold).... Guess Im going to look like an idiot for a bit, lol. I'll keep this up so other noobz dont have to ask the same question TYVM, Dlight!

Hey, is there any cinematic/Hi-Res Cutscene version of Darth Malgus as a rigged 3D model? From the default version and the DLC trailer where he is battle damaged, I don't play the game but I am a fan of Darth Malgus anyway

Looking for the Corellian Pilot set from the Cartel Market, in addition to the Jedi Stormguard torso + Canderous Ordo Boots/Pants/Belt, although the corresponding parts from the Scout set would also be fine

Does anyone have Tau Idair and Arn Peralun from the Legacy of the Sith expansion? Been trying to extract them myself with no luck yet. Figured I'd ask here in case anyone had them willing to share. Thanks

So, i'm looking for this armor (Callous Conqueror Armor): swtorista.com/armor/callous-conqueror
Male variant FBX or OBJ
If I can be very specific, i'd love this armor as a male version, black with red and with the Kallig helmet. But I can always change colors and I already have the kallig helmet myself if it's not possible.

How to get SWTOR models from Jedipedia.net without using Ninja Ripper: View AttachmentTo start you will need a few things: 1. Noesis2. Install the "fmt_SWTOR_Jedipedia_gr2.py" into Noesis (Thanks goes to Acewell for this!). 3. An internet browser like Firefox or Chrome that will allow you to use a "Developer Console". 4. Know how to find models on Jedipedia.net. With that out of the way we can begin! 1. Find a model you want on Jedipedia.net for this example I'll use this model: ( swtor.jedipedia.net/en/npc/invisible-generator-4) BUT DON'T LOAD/VIEW THE 3D MODEL YET! 2. In your browser bring up the "Web Developer/Network" console. Using Firefox (Ctrl+Shift+Q). Using Chrome (Ctrl+Shift+I) brings up the developer console but you'll need to switch to the "Network" tab and click on the "All" tab. 3. On Jedipedi.net inside the "3D model" window click on the "Click to load 3D" button. 4. You will see a bunch of files being loaded under the "Network" view of the "Developer Console". 5. For the example model above you'll see: bmf_fleshraider_a01.gr2 bmf_fleshraider_a01_v01_d.png bmf_fleshraider_a01_v01_n.png bmf_fleshraider_a01_v01_s.png black.png 6. The .gr2 is the model while the other files are the textures. 7. Now right-click on any of the listed files. In Firefox select "Copy URL" and in Chrome select "Copy link address". Open a new browser tab and paste the copied link into the address bar to start downloading the file. Choose a single folder to download all the files into. You can also use any external downloader app or browser extension to capture URL links and download the files for you. 8. Once you have all the files downloaded you can start up Noesis and import/export the models to whatever format you prefer from there! Where do I find the fmt_SWTOR_Jedipedia_gr2.py file? I am very much new to all this, and this is the last step I need to get Noesis working on SWTOR files. Thank you!

Warhammer_81, Sweet Lord of mercy, it's been a long day! Thank you for pointing out my blindness. I tried the blender 3.6 method with the gr2 plugin, but kept getting a response that the gr2's I provided were not valid. I'll try this method tomorrow, when I am a little more focused.
