Well the model of the Galactica itself is hopelessly broken.... Why, what's wrong with it?

well... let the professionals handle this. it's not hopelessly broken. the model is there in it's entirety. you just gotta rotate and scale (invert) the parts correctly and fix the normals ofc. i.imgur.com/9drRRNb.jpgproblem at hand rn is... some ripped parts import only the diffuse and some import only the lightmap uvs. i'm tryna fix this atm. choice is if i wanna fix it in noesis or blender. edit: fixed it. about the method: was not eager to edit importer code. i hexed the .rip files with 2 uv sets to skip the first. just edited it to TEXCOORx. lol. re-import in blender went fine from there. imported all straight. bit of manual material reassignment with the uv editor. set the final scale (inverted for some reason). inverted normals. done. ez i.imgur.com/7ZsrqQX.jpgwww.mediafire.com/file/ew6rug5g0galyak/galactica.rar enjoy

Would anyone happen to have any rigged models from that Berserk game from awhile back? Specifically Judeau. Closest I could dig up was an archive of old facepunch rips in a funky file format I can't seem to get to mesh with the newer versions of blender.

Would anyone know about exporting Titanfall 2 meshes? hoping to find an export of the stim pilots to convert into 3D printable action figures. Its not the first time I've converted a game model to a 3D printable figure, i just need the original models for the two to start with.

anyone happen to know of a rip of the starships from eve online? there was one on Adams Archive but its missing a lot of textures, and all the textures that were there seem to be greyscale. Any idea if theres a more complete one out there?

heres the archive i found earlier... its got all the ships but the textures are weird- they don't seem to have any coloring and are just white and grey The archive looks pretty complete to me. The textures actually do have some colors but only for the non-colorable parts like decals. The reason the textures don't have color schemes applied to them is because the game applies a color pallet to the "_AR" textures at the time of render in-game rather than baking all the textures with the colors already applied to them. This way the textures can be re-colored without having to create entirely new texture sets with each faction's color scheme. Just imagine how many textures the game would need if using separate colored textures for each and every faction in the game on every single object! Star Wars The Old Republic and Star Wars Galaxies use similar processes for re-coloring their textures. Here is a link describing in detail how the textures in EVE Online work: www.eveonline.com/news/view/the-many-additions-of-v5plusplusThe main thing to note from the article is this paragraph, "We've moved the albedo maps, which work with the factional information to generate the actual color information for the hull, to inhabit the R, G, and B channels of a texture called _AR. The alpha channel is occupied by the Roughness map, accounting for the name of the packed textures. A and R together...". This means you'll have to manually apply the colors to the textures yourself. Unfortunately I don't know where you can obtain the "factional information" that contains the color pallet data needed to tell you exactly how to re-color the textures.

Howdy folks! Odd question out, but has anyone here ever ripped the James Cameron Avatar game or know of a repository of assets? I'm mainly looking for the RDA weapon models and vehicles. They are pretty scarce from what I've seen so far. It's not very Star War-sy, but with the amount of ripping skills present I figured this was the best place to ask. Thank you!
