Looking for Gears 5 models. Yet to see anything ripped thus far. Isn't it an Xbox One exclusive? That's probably why. I don't think anyone has figured out how to rip assets from Xbox One discs yet... not that I'm aware of anyway.

Rancor022, That's true. That's the same reason why ripping models from the Halo 2 remaster was never possible. Which is why I'm like, can it's PC release just come already?

Indeed. Thanks to other sources we have a few of them but there are plenty of others I'd love to get my hands on. Specifically Miranda Keyes and Sgt. Johnson.

Warhammer_81 , So there are two train based games that I've managed to get models from Trainz and the one you told me about Transport Fever but there is a third one that I'm still trying to figure out. So far all I've managed to get from Railworks Train Simulator, formerly Microsoft Train Simulator, is textures. Which kind of annoys me because it looks like Railworks has the most accurate EMD F7 class www.3dtrains.com/images_rs/banner_funits_atsf_f7.jpg

As for ripping the models I'm only aware of using NinjaRipper to get the models. I don't have the game so I can't tell you why you can only rip textures. My guess is the game engine isn't fully compatible with NinjaRipper. If possible you could try downgrading the graphics settings to use an older version of DirectX and see if that works. For instance try running the game under DirectX 9 or 10 instead of DirectX 11 or something. If there isn't a way to do that then I'm not sure what else you can do. I read online that the game uses the Unreal Engine. If this is true it may be possible to get the models via Umodel but I don't have any way to test this without access to the game's files.

I actually do own that F7 bundle. So I can give that a shot.

Update on RailWorks models: I've found a tool that lets you view and convert the .TgPcDx textures directly ( Download RW Tools). I have yet to find any tools that will convert the .GeoPcDx models directly. RailWorks comes with a tool called serz.exe which can convert the .GeoPcDx model files into .xml files but I haven't found any tools that will read the model data from the converted .xml files.

Thanks, when I get time I'll convert them to Lightwave Hey andym haven't hear from you in a while. Something else I did that might intrigue you. I developed a way to port Dean A. Scott's Babylon 5 hyperspace vortex to other software. Since most support image sequence textures I rendered the original Lightwave scene as a PNG sequence. Might do the same thing with Fabio's soon.

Another Starships drop. This time some ships from Babylon 5. A space opera from the 1990's that virtually no one remembers until someone reminds you it exists. So feel free to take a look at some of these ships from this often overlooked piece of media. drive.google.com/file/d/1bsgIlp2kUG3qpsgb2epG_LzBthLnDYbK/view?usp=sharingP.S. if you've seen the website spacebattles.com and the animations on there, these are those models.

Any updates on my characters request? I was hoping to have that by April, or at least part of it.

I honestly gave up on the characters to focus entirely on ships. Sorry about that.

Please resume the characters, and upload whatever you've already finished. I really need them, especially that Seven model you have.

What I really gave up on was trying to rig them, particularly the face. If I may ask stargate38, how good are you at that?

I've never tried to rig a model. I'm only doing basic poses (i.e. head rotations, arm/leg movement, body, etc.).
Anyone else willing to rig them?

Mixamo is okay but it doesn't create a rig for the face. Which ironically is the area in which I struggle the most.

just try to paint the weights then. if you don't aim for perfection you can get away with 'mediocre' facial rigs. just the brows, lids, cheeks, nose bits and 5lips aka 8mouth. good stuff. means if you can manage to create expression and animations with it. i.imgur.com/d9ufyjA.jpgxcuse the clone wars xample. i just don't trek. ^_^

hEY, johnfleetadmiral01, You might wish to try Blend Rig for advanced auto rigging including Face rigs...just select the download button and select .zip file format. Make sure to check the links for Intro Guide, tutorials are by subscription. There is of course Auto Rig Pro...the paid addon (40$) that looks great...just depends if you want to fork out that much....

I actually did most of the weight painting and rigging in Maya and made final corrections in Blender.

Most of those can be found on P3dm.ru ... Battlefield 4 ModelsIf you have your scaleing set in Blender before you import, then that scale will be applied... you might have to scale them up ( I haven't checked ) it depends on what scale they began with, and then in Blender apply Scale and Rotation...In fact I always apply all transformations... Ctrl + A > All Transforms
