Not exactly a request for a sound so much as the request for the location of a sound. I'm looking for the 'out of bounds' voiceovers from Battlefront 2015. I thought they'd be in Sound>VO>Rebel/Imperial, but I can't find them there. You were actually correct, they are in those folders. These are the names of the sounds in each folder: SW01_VO_REBEL_AUTO_RADIO_OOBTIER1 SW01_VO_REBEL_AUTO_RADIO_OOBTIER2 SW01_VO_IMPERIAL_AUTO_RADIO_OOBTIER1 SW01_VO_IMPERIAL_AUTO_RADIO_OOBTIER2

Much appreciated!
This time I do have a specific request. Frosty crashes every time I try to extract the DLT-19X firing sounds from SWBF2015. Does anybody have those sounds?

Also, Rancor022, where can I find the Wookiee sound file from Battlefront 2015? Sound\VO\Aliens\Chewbacca.

Rancor022, I checked the backup link to the old audio files and the forum-synthetic site is gone, replace by a Battlefield wiki. If you still have access to the Battlefront 2015 sounds, could you send me a link, please, so I can access the sounds from there?

I don't have any of the BF1 sounds uploaded, just the BF2 weapon and vehicle sounds.

I had an archive from you or maybe Corra, but it had just a few vehicles. This is a godsend. So much content. Thank you!

Anybody able to rip the briefings from battlefront 2 2005? (temuera morrisons campaign voice lines)

Those aren't going to be isolated. SWBF2 2005 used FMV/bink videos for those so it's all in stereo.

Was referring to the things said ingame, not the videos played before a mission

Anybody have any of these sound effects from Lego star wars games? - The emperors laugh - "Intruder alert" from the first level I'm sorry this has taken so long but I finally extracted all the sounds from LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens. I can now get you the exact sound files from the game you wanted! The files are as follows: Corellian Corvette Alarm Sound "AMB_CORELLIANCORVETTEALARM_LP.WAV" and Emperor Palpatine's various laughs "CS_EMPERORPALPATINE_CACKLES_ENG.OGG", "CS_EMPERORPALPATINE_HAHAHA_ENG.OGG", "CS_EMPERORPALPATINE_HAHAHHAHA_ENG.OGG". www.mediafire.com/file/8noob5jj82319vb/LEGO_Star_Wars_TFA_Audio_Rips.zip/fileI won't be uploading the entire sound library for the game since it's around 5 GB, but if there is anything specific you want let me know. This game has a lot of great voice overs from the original Star Wars cast!

If its no problem could I make a request of the Galaxy of Heros Games Audio nothing in particular iam intrested in all the audio the game uses I've got all the audio files but they are .wem/.bnk compressed. The game uses the Wwise audio system so it will take time to unpack everything. I used QuickBMS with the Wwise .PCK Extractor script: pastebin.com/VFwUkx2fUpdate: I also use the Ravioli Game Tools to extract audio: www.scampers.org/steve/sms/other.htmUpdate 2: Here is a dump of all the audio assets from the game as of July 18, 2021: Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Extracted Audio Dump

einheit101, I might just look into doing that. Warhammer_81, do you think the BNK files or UASSET files in the audio directory might contain any naming information? I could upload all of those as well just incase anyone wants to take a look at them.

I really appreciate you going to the effort of dumping all the audio assets from the game! Unfortunately despite my best efforts I can't parse out the audio file name data! The audio files themselves can be easily extracted from their .bnk and .wem containers but as was previously mentioned you don't get any file names. Looking at the .wem files in a hex editor reveals they don't contain any file name data so that doesn't help either. Upon further digging I have come to the conclusion that all the .uasset and .uexp files probably contain the needed file name data BUT I have no way of extracting/parsing it out. Umodel doesn't help since it doesn't know how to extract the contents of the audio .uasset and .uexp files. When the developers built the game using the Wwise audio system they compressed the audio bank data into the .uasset and .uexp files and I have no way of getting it back out so I'm stuck.

I don't suppose anybody knows how to extract audio from Renegade/Elite Squadron? I'm trying to extract streams and ambience.

I don't suppose anybody knows how to extract audio from Renegade/Elite Squadron? I'm trying to extract streams and ambience. Well it was actually much easier than I thought it would be to extract all the game audio! The main formats are .at3 for music, .wem for voice overs, and .vag for sound effects. The game uses the Asura engine to pack all the sound effects and voice overs into .psp and .asr/.am files. Using QuickBMS and the Asura engine unpacker script I successfully extracted all the archive data. The only real challenge came when trying to extract the voice overs. I had to first extract the streaming data from inside the .am file, then extract the .wem files using RavioliGameTools v2.10. Unfortunately as a result of extracting the VO files in this way I had no way to rename all the .wem files back to their correct file names. On a side note I found the audio in Elite Squadron to be overall lower quality/more compressed than the same audio samples found in Renegade Squadron. Elite Squadron also left out a moderate amount of the sound samples found in Renegade Squadron. I understand they probably had to do this to make more room for other content on the disk. Thank you! I figured the Elite Squadron audio would be lower quality for whatever reason (probably the aforementioned needing to fit more in).

The only way I've managed so far is to record audio in-game using FRAPS or similar and edit the audio recording from there... Rather tedious & time consuming if you want a lot of content but the good news is that you can configure the audio settings in-game & mute either music, sfx or voice overs essentially recording the specific sound elements you're after...

That isn’t a reasonable option, especially with other sounds being mixed in with the sounds I’d lie specifically. According to “iteachvader,” the sounds are in .BNK/.PCK format, which can be accessed by TXTH function/BMS script for Wem BNK + PCK according to Pingus! Once those files are accessed, then you’d get .WEM files which can be opened and converted with foobar2000. It’ll get all the files I need—meaning I want just the Clone Wars sounds and the Galactic Civil War sounds—without any of them overlapping if you recorded them with a screen and audio capture.
Does the above information make sense to you?

Oh yes I use the aluigi script all the time for extracting meshes etc.. I thought you might be referring to another script altogether for the audio.. Thankyou for your help. 😊
